You can configure the system to limit scheduling to a maximum of two lessons per day.

Go to Timetable constraints > No 3 identical lessons in the same day and ensure that the constraint is set to Active.

Warn: If you have set a custom value in the Max. lessons/day field on the Lessons > Edit page, this constraint will be overridden by your specified value.
