Where to find it

Divisions are set at the class level. Go to Classes, select the class you want to work with, scroll down to the Subgroups section, and click Add division.

Filling in the division dialog

The Edit division dialog has two fields:

• Division name: A short, descriptive name for the division (e.g., Optional, Languages, PE, Lab Groups). This is the name you'll see throughout the app.
• Subgroups: Every division needs at least two subgroups. Click Add subgroup to name each one (e.g., Group A and Group B, or French and Spanish).

Saving

Once you've named the division and added your subgroups, click Save. The new division appears as a card in the Subgroups section.

Example

Division name	Subgroups
Beginner Languages	French, German, Spanish

This creates three subgroups under the Beginner Languages division for that class.

Note: To apply the same division to multiple classes at once, check Apply this division to other classes as well before saving.
