Place certain lessons earlier in the timetable
To achieve this, we use the lesson's importance. An important lesson will be scheduled earlier in the timetable.
What is lesson importance?
Importance is a label you assign to a lesson to indicate its priority. This helps the app understand that the lesson is particularly significant for you and your students.
Why is importance useful?
Horarium uses this information to:
- Place high-importance lessons earlier in the timetable.
- Avoid scheduling multiple high-importance lessons on the same day, making it easier for students to focus.
How do I set the importance?
Go to Lessons > Edit and adjust the Importance field.
What is the default importance of a lesson?
- When importing lessons from an Excel file, a lesson’s importance is higher if its frequency is greater.
- When adding lessons directly through the app, the default setting is "Important."
