The total lesson hours across all teachers does not fit within the configured range.

What causes this error

This error occurs in setups that use the flexible teacher assignment feature. The system sums the total lesson hours across all lessons and compares them against the sum of each teacher's minimum and maximum working hours. If the total lesson hours fall outside the range [sum of min working hours, sum of max working hours], generation fails.

This can happen when:

• Too few lessons are configured relative to the teachers' minimum hour requirements.
• Too many lessons are configured relative to the teachers' maximum hour limits.

How to fix it

1. Add or remove lessons — Adjust the total number of lessons to bring the overall hours into the valid range shown in the error.
2. Adjust teacher working hour limits — In the Teachers section, review and update the Min. working hours/week and Max. working hours/week for each teacher so the combined range covers the total lesson hours.
