Group '7A': minimum rule Min. number of lessons / day (5) is greater than maximum rule Max. number of lessons / day (3).
Last updated: Mar 23, 2026
At a glance
The minimum value of a rule is set higher than its corresponding maximum.
What causes this error
This error occurs when the minimum value exceeds the maximum value for the same rule, which is a logical contradiction the scheduler cannot resolve.
This can happen in several places:
- Class lesson rules: Min. lessons per day is higher than Max. lessons per day.
- Class timeslot rules: Starting timeslot (Min.) is higher than Ending timeslot (Max.), or Max. starting timeslot is set outside the allowed timeslot range.
- Lesson spread rules: A lesson's Min. days/week is higher than its Max. days/week.
For example: minimum 5 lessons per day but maximum 3 per day is impossible.
How to fix it
- Class lesson rules — Go to Classes, edit the affected class, and make sure Max. number of lessons per day is greater than or equal to Min. number of lessons per day.
- Class timeslot rules — Verify that Starting timeslot is less than or equal to Ending timeslot, and that Max. starting timeslot is within the allowed timeslot window.
- Lesson spread rules — Go to the Lessons section, edit the affected lesson, and make sure Max. days/week is greater than or equal to Min. days/week.
