Too many lessons have been assigned to this group — there are not enough time slots.

What causes this error

The total number of lesson slots configured for this class exceeds the maximum number of available time slots. The available slots per day are determined by:

• The class's Max. number of lessons per day rule.
• Any unavailable periods marked for the class on that day.

The system sums the usable slots across all school days (capped by the daily maximum). If the total lesson slots needed exceed this sum, the error appears.

For example, if a class has a maximum of 6 lessons per day across 5 days but 3 periods per week are marked as unavailable, the effective maximum is at most 6 x 5 - 3 = 27 slots. Assigning 33 lessons is impossible.

How to fix it

1. Reduce the number of lessons — Go to the Lessons section and remove or reduce the frequency of some lessons for this class.
2. Increase the daily maximum — Go to Classes, edit the affected class, and raise the Max. number of lessons per day rule.
3. Review unavailable periods — Go to Classes, edit the affected class, and remove any unnecessary unavailability restrictions to free up more daily slots.
